Accommodation
Safe, comfortable homes with clear standards.
Bright Sky Homes CIC provides furnished supported accommodation for adults aged 18 and over in Leicestershire. Our homes are managed to promote safety, stability and respectful shared living, alongside practical housing-related support based on each resident’s assessed needs.
What residents can expect
Good accommodation is about more than a room. It includes safe shared spaces, clear expectations and reliable property management. Property-specific details, including room facilities and accessibility, are discussed during the suitability process.
Furnished private room
A clean, comfortable private bedroom with suitable furniture and storage. Room size, layout and furnishings may vary between properties.
Well-maintained shared spaces
Shared kitchens, bathrooms and communal areas are managed and maintained, with residents expected to use them considerately and play their part in keeping them clean.
Safety and property standards
Residents receive clear safety and emergency information. Relevant property safety checks are carried out, and fire safety arrangements are maintained.
Responsive property management
Residents have clear routes to report repairs and property concerns, and to raise safeguarding concerns or complaints.
Respectful shared living
Shared accommodation works best when everyone understands what is expected. Residents are expected to treat each other, the property and the local community with respect.
Before accommodation is offered, we explain the main house expectations and confirm them in the resident’s occupancy agreement.
House expectations cover:
- How visitors and overnight stays are managed
- Keeping noise at a considerate level
- Cleaning and shared household responsibilities
- Rules on smoking, alcohol, substance use and fire safety
- Anti-social behaviour, safeguarding and respect for neighbours
- Taking part in agreed housing-related support and reviews
Repairs, safety and concerns
Residents are shown how to report routine repairs, urgent property issues and out-of-hours property emergencies. Routes for raising safeguarding concerns or complaints are also explained clearly.
Protecting residents' privacy
We do not publish exact property addresses, room numbers, access arrangements, occupancy details or identifiable resident information. Location and access information is shared privately with residents and relevant professionals when needed.
