Our accessibility approach and current status
WCAG is an international accessibility standard. Level AA requires all applicable Level A and Level AA success criteria to be met.
Our benchmark
Honest conformance status
The live website has not yet undergone a complete accessibility audit. We therefore do not currently claim full WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance. Any verified limitations will be recorded on this page and material barriers will be prioritised for correction.
What happens next
Ongoing improvement
Bright Sky Homes will not make a full conformance claim until the finished website has been tested against the complete WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA requirements.
How we test and maintain accessibility
Automated checks are useful, but they cannot confirm accessibility on their own. Our accessibility review will combine automated tools with manual checks and testing of key user journeys.
Automated checks
We will use automated tools to identify detectable issues such as missing labels, structural errors and colour-contrast problems.
Keyboard and magnification
We will check key pages and journeys using keyboard-only navigation, zoom and narrow-screen reflow to identify barriers.
Assistive-technology checks
We will test representative journeys with appropriate screen-reader and browser combinations, including navigation, forms, errors and confirmation messages.
Manual content review
We will review heading order, reading order, link purpose, alternative text, instructions and the clarity of important content.
Testing will cover shared page templates and the main contact, referral and complaints journeys. Any verified material barriers will be prioritised for correction.
Tell us if something is difficult to use.
You do not have to describe a diagnosis. Tell us the page or task, what went wrong and the format or adjustment that would help.
